Hire of Equipment

Hire of DOP Equipment The range of Aerosol Photometry Equipment available for hire is shown below. Hire equipment is available for a weekly charge and at an extra charge can be crated and shipped to the customer subject to availability with 48 hours notice. All the equipment shown is available for purchase. Customers wishing to buy during or at the end of a hire period are entitled to a partial rebate of the hire charge. Comprehensive training courses on the use of Aerosol Photometry Equipment are available for presentation either on a customer’s site or at our training centre in Letchworth. The training course details the theory of the use of the equipment and practical advice on the customer’s specific application.

Aerosol Photometer

The SP200DNS Linear Photometer with digital display and alarm meter. Direct read-out in mass concentration or percentage penetration for efficiency or leak testing. Part number : ZHSP200DNS for 240 volt operation. The Photometer is supplied with a valid calibration certificate and the equipment comes fully serviced and ready for use.

Precision Thermal Generator

A medium sized and compact Thermal Aerosol Generator for use in validating high efficiency Air Filtration Systems, air flow visualisationion work and fire training. Internal gas bottle or external gas bottle (version determines option). Oil is propelled through the heat exchanger using an inert gas (normally CO2). The vapour condenses in the ambient air to provide a dry dense aerosol smoke.
The precision vernier dial allows the user to accurately and repeatably control the aerosol output. Part Number ZHDOP1100.

Positive Injection Pump

Capable of injecting aerosol into 42 mbar positive pressure. Enhances mixing in the system.
Part number : ZHSPB-2. For 240 volt operation.

Edra 5 Anemometer

A thermal anemometer measuring in the velocity range of 0-20 m/s and temperature -20 to +70 degree centigrade. The telepscopic probe, 675mm extended, is 12mm diameter at is end and permanently connected to the instrument. The instrument offers timed or multi-point averaging, Hold, Min and Max.

Manometer 512

512 Manometer. Shows pressure and flow simultaneously in an easy-to-read, large, backlit display. Measurement data is printed on site with date and time as well as minimum and maximum values. Measuring range: 0 to +2 hPa. Accuracy: 0.5% of fsv. Resolution: 0.001 hPa.
