Specialist Equipment

In our industry some specialist tests are required which are included for in core standards such as ISO14644 and EN12469.

Microbiological contaminants are the main risk presented in pharmaceutical and healthcare environments and our ActiveCount microbial sampler is ideal for air sampling onto agar plates, capturing microbes that can replicate and contaminate products and processes.

Airflow visualisation in cleanrooms, laboratories and specific spaces such as clean air and safety cabinets, ducting and room construction is possible using a smoke generator. Our range includes for chemical based and water-based equipment covering quality, technical and budget based needs.

Microbiological Safety Cabinets (MBSCs) are required by BS5726 and EN12469 to demonstrate containment capability. The Operator Protection Factor (OPF) is measured using a KI Discus test kit.

For some specialist manufacturing environments require the use of a Particle Fallout Photometer (PFO), to measure particles that naturally deposit themselves onto surfaces.
