Course Details
The course is sectioned to allow adequate theory/knowledge sharing and practical testing depending on the needs of the group. We limit the attendance of each course to 10 so that everyone gets maximum attention.
Course Content includes:
HEPA Filters - Design and construction, classification, performance and manufacturers test methods.
HEPA Filter Testing - The theory and calculations of the ISO14644-3 DOP integrity test, the EN1822 and BS3928 manufacturers tests, the difference between them, between scan and volumetric tests and also selection for installations. Also connections to US Fed.Std and IEST recommended practices.
In-situ Testing - A practical approach to testing installed HEPA filters according to ISO14644-3, IEST-RP006, old BS5295, PD6609 and other cabinet standards such as EN12469.
Specific topics for specific industries (by request) - Negative air systems for the asbestos industry, the nuclear industry, isolators and incubators - glove boxes, gas masks and respirator canisters, sterile packaging machines, LEV systems.
Discussion - Practical problems specific to your applications.
Reporting the Results - To be in compliance with the ISO14644 and PD6609 documents.
